CONFERENCE

The AAVFD Conference is held annually. The conference gives fire departments throughout the state a chance to participate in the fire fighter competitions, attend the banquet where awards are given out and to hear guest speakers. Equipment vendors are also present at the conference promoting the new equipment available for fire departments.

49th Annual AAVFD Conference — Save the Date! We’re excited to officially announce that the Colbert County Association of Volunteer Fire Departments will host the 2026 AAVFD Conference on June 12–13 at the North Alabama State Fairgrounds, located at 65 Sportsplex Dr., Muscle Shoals. This year’s conference will bring together volunteers, leaders, vendors, and supporters from across the state for two days of networking, training, fellowship, and celebration. For more information on the 2026 Annual Conference visit ccavfd.org. ✅ Registration Details • $40 per person (all ages) through May 31 • $50 per person starting June 1 Registration includes: • Friday night cookout meal • Friday evening entertainment • Saturday night closing banquet Registration is now open! ________________________________________ Vendor Information The vendor exhibition area will be open: • Friday, June 12: Noon–5 PM • Saturday, June 13: 8 AM–Noon Booth Details: • 10’ x 10’ space with one table • $100 per booth • All company representatives must be registered. ________________________________________ Hotel Options • Comfort Inn — 256-248-0850 • Best Western — 256-386-9889 • Coldwater Inn — 256-383-6844 • Clarion Inn — 256-368-6016 • Microtel Inn & Suites — 256-320-4079 ________________________________________ On-Site Camper/RV Sites • Full hookup (26 sites): $40/night • Water & electric only (8 sites): $30/night • Dry camping (bring your own generator): $20/night ________________________________________ More details will be released as we get closer to the event.
